After a long period, Micromax is all set to make a comeback in India with its new “In” series. The company wasn’t much active after December 2018. But recently, a video of the Company’s CEO, Rahul Sharma, is getting viral in India. The main idea to launch this phone was the violence happening at the border. Rahul has confirmed that the new “In” phones will be launched before Diwali.
An interesting point about this new “In” branding that you might not have noticed is its resemblance with LinkedIn Logo. LinkedIn is a famous Professional Networking website used by employees and employers across the world. The company is owned by Microsoft Corporation.

If you notice, both the logo look fairly similar. There can be a case of copyright infringement. But if you think, these logos are not similar enough for LinkedIn to sue Micromax, then you might be wrong. If you don’t know, Apple has already sued many companies for copying their logo. So, Looking at above image, you might have understood that how complex Trademark infringement can be. I hope Micromax has done all the research before launching this new logo. Otherwise, this new beginning can prove to be an end for them.
